How do I inform the practice?
If you feel you have a urine infection please complete an online consultation form first to help clarify your symptoms to the doctor.
What information is required?
We can not accept urine samples for suspected infections unless it is attached with following information:
What urinary symptoms or other are you experiencing to suspect a urine infection?
How long have you been feeling unwell with each symptom you describe?
Female child bearing age- are you pregnant?
What treatment have you tried so far, over the counter or otherwise?

Urine pot
You may then want to collect a urine pot from reception and provide a sample for the clinician to check- especially if you are prone to recurrent urine infections in the past. Please make sure the sample pot itself is clearly labelled with your name and DOB.
