  • Results usually available one week after your tests.

  • See your results via NHS App along with the normal range and a comment by the Doctor. Alternatively contact reception after 2pm.

  • Labtestonline may help you understand what blood test means and common questions related to the test. Please be aware that the Doctors often look at trends in the blood test results rather than any isolated level which may be considered acceptable.


Hospital Blood test- no need to collect blood test form

Once your blood test has been arranged by your surgery, you no longer need a printed blood test form if you are planning on having your blood test done at Barnet/ Chase Farm/ Edgware or Royal Free Hospital. Your blood test form will be printed at the hospital site when you attend for your appointment. You can book your blood test appointment online or by telephone from the details below:

Blood test form still required if booking at Finchley Memorial Hospital

Finchley Memorial Hospital will still need a printed blood test form to be collected from the surgery if you choose to have your blood test done there. Collect the form from the practice then book online or by telephone from the details below:


Practice Blood test pilot

We have secured services for adult blood tests to be done at the surgery on Fridays- this can be booked by contacting reception for availability. You will still need a printed blood test form which the reception can print off for you. If you prefer, other local practices may be offering alternate days.


XRay (walk in)

Xray investigations are now walk in appointments as of 15 August 2022 (no need for appointment).

Walk-in x-ray services available at Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, Finchley Memorial Hospital, Edgware Community Hospital and Royal Free Hospital.

The services will run Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays).

Booked appointments will remain available at some sites in the evenings and at weekends. Patients can call: 0203 758 2452 / 0203 758 2562 Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays). This information is also on the xray form. 


Other scans and investigations

All other scan and investigation (eg USS/ CT scan/ ECG/ Echocardiogram) are by appointment only will be sent out via post to your registered home address.
